LispWorks

LispWorks software tools are designed for projects that are complex and ambitious or just need to be prototyped and delivered quickly. Common Lisp has long been the standard for complex application development. LispWorks builds on this tradition with modern Lisp development tools, based on advanced technologies which make them the best development platform for a variety of uses.

LispWorks is available in three editions. All editions include the LispWorks advanced Common Lisp compiler, runtime system, Common LispWorks IDE and language extensions. Supported platforms are Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and other Unices

Personal Edition

The Personal Edition is intended for personal and educational Lisp programming. It's available free of charge. While the Personal Edition includes the full Common Lisp compiler and development environment, it does limit program size and duration and it does not support application delivery.

Professional Edition

The Professional Edition includes everything you need for commercial Common Lisp software development and application delivery. CLIM 2.0 is included to further increase program portability. Applications developed with the Professional edition can be distributed free of charge.

Enterprise Edition

The Enterprise Edition includes all the features of the Professional Edition, and provides further support for software needs of the modern enterprise, including:

• Database access through object-oriented SQL/ODBC libraries.
• Industry standard distributed computing through Harlequin Common Lisp ORB.
• Expert system programming through KnowledgeWorksTM which has an embedded Prolog compiler.
