What do these cities have in common? They let people build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, cities with restrictive zoning, NIMBY activism, and slow permitting processes? Rents stay high. Because artificial scarcity keeps prices elevated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This isn’t complicated. It’s Economics 101. More supply = lower prices. Less supply = higher prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
