How perverse do you like it?

Just read

I cite:

Liddy also wrote the government’s demands could affect AIG’s ability to retain “the best and brightest talent to lead and staff the AIG businesses” if “employees believe that their compensation is subject to continued and arbitrary adjustment by the U.S. Treasury.”

I cite from the above letter:

” With all of these actions and other creative restructuring solutions, AIG
hereby commits to use best efforts to reduce expected 2009 retention payments by
at least 30%.

Wow that means if you’ve earned 1 000 000 in 2008 you got 700 000 in 2009 even if AIG is under water. How cute is that?

How do you get it? I can not see the brightes talent working for AIG…..

What would they have got if AIG would not exist any longer? Exactly nothing. So every pence spend in AIG is theft. But they are fully right to ask AIG to keep their contracts. If it’s governement money, well bad luck for the Politician. However nobody has forced them to just spend a pence on AIG. And so they are absolutly stuck….

Politics at it’s “best”…..
