I really wonder what’s the fuzz about it. I’ve seen a very depressing documentary on Arte about the US civil war. And I was „terrified“. Why was it worth so many debts to „keep it ‚one‘ nation“. Why was it ok to Lincoln to let literally tens of thousands die? What would have happened with two „united nations“? Nothing, the both would have had the same tongue. and they could have lived peacefully side-by-side. But no it has meant killing over any bounds, devastation and desperation on every side. Was it worth it?
They wrote one city heavily under bombardment, has not celebrated the 4th of July for 81 years after this terrible war. I just can say they were 81 years 100% right… The glory of the 4th of July were on tens-of thousand graves….

Let’s see what it means. Democracy means some figures are the „majority“ and can decide for all. So let’s talk our „beloved“ Germany as example. We have around 80 Millions men in here. Let’s be generous and assume 10 000 000 millions of them are children. They are excluded from every vote. Let’s assume 5 millions are divere foreigners with not voting rights here. So we’re down to around 65 millions. According to the BNN here in BW around 7.8 millions are allowed to vote (with around 14 millions living here) so with all means let’s assume just half the living beengs here can vote. Now how’s it with the majority than?
Now it gets worse. Just around 2/3 of them reall do go voting so we are down to 40 * 2 / 3 = 26.67 millions. Majoritiy? Now let’s see the last voting result CDU around 35 %, FDP around 15% so over all 13,33 millions.
So 13.33 millions do decide for 80 million people. Well I can not see a much poorer picture. Just around 1/8 of the men here, can decide what to do. And it’s getting worse it’s not possible to question their doings. Laws may be abiden , but maybe not. And if you think it can not be worse. There is not way for more than 300 million people to questions the doing of the EU. Because the EU is not a democracy but a partycrocy. (will say just parties of the diverse countries can decide) and then we go down to all member of diverse parties. Which „rule“.
I’m afraid we are have to live after rules from a few thousand people. With hardly a safety net to prevent them intruding our private lifes. These few thousand people have taken all of us hostage and a big machine to shelter them from us. They give orders to those under arms and well they make laws we have to abide to but they don’t. In Germany many laws are just for the „non politicians“….
Even if we’d have Saints as „rulers“. There is the all present threat of using force against you. They make the laws and they own the guns. They will come to your house take and inform you. Well sorry, but this country you own is needed by the „public“ you better be prepared to loose it. Oh yes you can try to fight them, but fact is they have stolen things which were owned by the disfunkt GDR. But the original owners did not get back their property. Another always present threat is simply „go-to-jail“. You won’t abide to pay your taxes -> go to jail, you do not want your children in a public school -> go to jail.
So is this a desirable way of „living“. I’m afraid I disagree.
The base of all living together is to
1) abide to the property of anyone
2) contracts.
If you than just add one simple thing. „Don’t do to others, what you do not want to be done to you“. And we are fine. Current politics means „I know what’s best for you and you better follow“..
So is democracy all that good? I happily conclude: „No“. It just can get a bit better if you always can request the actions of your politicians. We do not have this extra in our Grundgesetz, and the current deledefs do no allow us deciding upon our constituition. (Believe it or not our Grundgesetz is just a provisional arrangement).

If you let take revenge the better of you, you loose. However if you do not show that you see the bad things having been done for some or many of you, you loose also.
We in Germany have gone through it some 20 years, ago. The peace is flaky, and the wrong-doers are still in high positions. Millions of people did not get any of their property, but everyone is taxed

Diesmal sind mal wieder die „dummen“ Autofahrer.
Nicht nur, daß man sowieso schon mit jedem Liter Sprit rund 1 Euro an den „lieben“ Staat abführen darf. Nicht das man je nach Hubraum auch noch mal ordentlich ausgenommen wird und, daß man alle 2 Jahre eine weitere Zwangsabgabe entrichten darf, und nicht zuletzt auch mal eben 5-10 EUR für eine absolut sinnfreie Feinstaubplakette.
Nein jetzt möchte schwarz/geld (insgesamt gibt das ein fieses Braun) auch eine Maut für PKW. Nicht das die Politiker unser Geld in den Ausbau des Straßennetzes oder nur die Wartung investierten. Nein, damit werden „soziale Wohltaten“ verbrochen, lies man steckt es lieber in den Aufbau einer immer dickeren „Armutsschicht“.
CDU/FDP sind so was von gutmenschlich, daß es weh tut. Speziell all den Menschen die in „Ruhe“ leben wollen. Ich hoffe ja immer noch auf den März wenn es denn hoffentlich heissen wird FDP weniger als 5%, CDU weniger als 25%, SPD weniger als 10%, Grüne weniger als 5% und Linke weniger als 0,5%. Den rest bekommt hoffentlich eine Partei die liberal nicht nur als Lippenbekenntnis aufweist …

During the last two years they have given up nearly everything what can be remote attached to „liberal“. Result in surveys the FDP just gets below 5%.
So I’m quite impressed that going down the drain is that good a way.
I was thinking, that one might see the results of the last votes, and think about why one has seen such results. I was once a supporter of the FDP but after such years, one
can not name the FDP a „liberal“ home any more.

Well I guess nobody else have heard about it there is food scandal here about a substance called (Dioxin). Our public law television institutions have reported about it for more than 5 minutes.
The diverse billions of any „safety“ chute were treated within 10 seconds.
Oh, yeah you have to eat quite a few eggs to take in harming amounts of venom. I just can conclude a bankrupt of our country can’t be more serious than eating a few eggs.

3) The central banks have made money cheaper than cheap. If you save money you have lost value (again)
All has worked against self-responsibility, the thieves saved themselves with special laws and or have broken them as they like. So one can conclude arbitrariness has grown again. We still have no money of value just more fancy nice confetty, just they (the deledefs) name it „money“
It still can get worse in developed country if one sees the judgement about Chodorkowski. It just shows what we can expect. The Deledefs will make more and more laws and breaking them will get punished ever harder the harder the grip on freedom. The newest attacks on freedom will probably driven by
1) Fear
2) Uncertainty
3) Doubt
1) Fear is easy done, just tell the people that while not following the politicians indescribable bad things will happen. Every new terror attack will be instrumented to surrender more and more to those „who“ know…
2 is even easier. Just introduce new laws and make them very soft. Nobody will know if one is within its bounds or not . Add the possiblity of „instructions“ to it to the bureaucrats than you still can be sure people will get more unsure
3) doubt can be more or easier achieved. If you have uncertainty doubt will raise without further „work“. However as a prudent politician you try taking away doubt with just a few words. „We don’t have alternatives“… I bet this will be one of the most stressed phrase in the near future.
So I’m afraid this year was a disaster for freedom and it surely was against anything just remote connected to liberalism. A few more such years and the breakdown is unavoidable.

gains of around 40%. Now is Gold a Bubble? Well it very depends on your point of view. Unfortunately neither the FED nor the EZB, show us a graph of the

It could be that gold is a bubble, but it seems more likely that money was bubbled much more. So if we just assume a growth of 8% of M3 in 2009, and 2010. We should have seen a raise in the BIP of at least that much. This has not happened, and so the question persists where was this money spend? It seems very likely the distrust to paper-money has driven many people to buy sliver, gold, platinum.
Now we can bet on the next years. There is not strengthening of money policy in view. Bernanke just wanted to buy another few bonds at or around 600 Billions. in the EU the discussion is on to introduce „Euro bonds“. That are bonds backed up by the EU, backed up by different countries. This suggests that money supply will be plenty the forthcoming future. So I’d think we see another raise in all kinds of assets. (real ones not that funny junk bonds of any EU country or the US).
Where will this bubble end? Well we have learned in 2008 that there is no one-way street to higher prices. And we all know that even the sky has it’s limits. So either the central banks start contracting money or the bubble will burst with a loud bang. I’M very pessimistic that the central banks start acting responsible. I bet they fill follow the lead of the Japanese central bank and government, which now try for more than 10 years printing out there way of their recession. The result is that Japan has the highest rate of debts of all developed countries. And still it does not work. No-one is surprised but the Deledefs and it seem they believe the only way out of debt is collecting more debt..
Well this will not work and if the money bubble will burst, you hopefully have something of real value to trade or pay with. Gold is but one instrument. So I expect an extra raise of the gold price. And I expect it to inflate even stronger the more the central banks try to print us out of this crisis. If the gold prices starts cantering, all bets are off.
I really am curious which country first will draw the correct conclusions. The country which will end this fiat-money madness, will gain everything, people, money wealth. All others will end in misery and this misery has meant war in the past….

Nun ja, es wäre schon hilfreich wenn es wenigstens einer der Klimahysterikern hier mal „Butter bei die Fische täte“ und uns erläuterte wie die Sonne in seinem/ihren Modell berücksichtigt wurde. Wenn die Werte doch unzweifelhaft sind und wenn es doch „wärmer“ werden muss, ist es wohl nicht zuviel verlangt zu erfahren auf welchen Daten beruhen denn die Modelle.
Auch die Qualität der Temperaturmessungen sollte über jeden Zweifel erhaben sein. Platziere ich mein Thermometer im Haus, werde ich wohl kaum die Außentemperaturen messen können.
Auch bezweifele ich, daß wir in der Lage sind alle relevanten Faktoren korrekt zu berechnen oder nur in der Lage zu sein zu beurteilen wie sich gewisse Änderungen woanders auswirken. Was passiert z.B. wenn wirklich größere Eisflächen schmelzen, was passiert mit dem Wasser auf dem sie schwammen? Welchen Einfluss haben die Wolken ? Welche Rolle spielen die Ozeane im Wärmetransport rund um den Globus und was passiert wenn das Wasser wärmer oder kälter wird.
Ich bin nur ein Programmierer und stelle immer wieder fest. Bei Auswirkungen von Codeänderungen liege ich oft daneben. Mein Model ist quasi abgeschlossen, externe Einflüsse spielen keine gravierende Rolle, trotzdem übersehe ich immer wieder Abhängigkeiten. Könnte es sein, dass es Klimaforschern da nicht immer besser ergeht?
Könnte in Betracht gezogen werden, dass man auch einer Art Herdentrieb unterliegt. Das man vielleicht selektiv die Arbeiten liest die der eigenen Vorstellung am nächsten liegen.
Eins möchte ich klar stellen, ich bezweifele nicht eine wie auch immer geartet Klimaänderung. Ich denke aber ein Menschenleben ist wirklich eine extrem kurze Zeit um über Klimaänderungen zu reden. Das Klima auf der Erde ändert sich ständig, es änderte sich radikal schon zu Zeiten als Menschen nur ein Hirngespinst von Bakterien waren, und nüchtern betrachtet muss man auch feststellen: Die Klimaänderungen waren insgesamt so gravierend, dass vielleicht nur 0.00001% aller Lebewesen als Art mehr als ein paar Millionen Jahre existieren. Die gesamte Geschichte der Säugetiere reicht gerade mal „nur“ 200 Mio Jahre zurück, bei einem angenommenen Alter von 4500 Millionen Jahre der Erde also gerade mal 4,4% vom Alter der Erde.

Well then let me ask:: „What’s inflation“ how comes that a US Dollar from just 100 year or so ago is just worth 4 ct.? It must be that way, well that is what they tell you. If all will break down and no money will buy you bread, than it’s time for them to establish them as the saviors of the world. They will steal it from those having acted responsible. And so it starts again. At first they will see that markets will be allowed to function again, then comes the tax. And then the promised of the land of plenty. build on debts or worthless money we are doomed to accept as real money. And the round of booms and busts will start. The sums will get absurd and they will alway tell you „Oh no problem we CAN control it.
Believe them and you will pay not one, not twice but forever. See what you have to pay for and see what you really need, draw your conclusions and be wise enough to not buy any bond from anything related to government…..

Jeder der Herr Westerwelle alleine die schuld gibt darf FDP ab sofort als Feige Deutsche Partei bezeichnen. Sie haben gewonnen weil Sie die einzige Alternative schienen die eben nicht den Weg in den Sozialismus vorantreiben möchte. Es lag hauptsächlich daran Eigenverantwortung zu leben und zu übernehmen. Das habe Ihr alle zusammen (mit ganz wenige Ausnahmen) Entschuldigung „vers….“ Ihr habe Euch nicht gegen sämtliche Failouts gestellt. Hättet Ihr ganz klar gemacht: „Es ist Euer Recht Milliarden zu verdienen, es ist auch euer Recht den Laden dicht zu machen, wenn Ihre eben Milliarden verliert“.
Es ginge Ihnen auch besser, wenn Ihr speziell dem europäischen Rettungsschirm abgesagt hättet. Das alles haben Sie nicht gemacht und ich freue mich, daß Sie die Konsequenzen daraus tragen müssen. Wie ich meinem Bundestagsabgeordneten schon mitteilte, ich wünsche ein freundliches aber bestimmtes Ende an der 5% Hürde. Ich gönne Ihnen jedes Prozent unterhalb der 5.0. Ganz speziell dem 0.001 ten % unterhalb der 5%. Sie haben dem Liberalismus den Kampf angesagt, Sie haben Ihre Wähler betrogen, und viel schlimmer sich selbst auch. Ich gönne Ihnen auch von vollem Herzen, dass Sie mal unter Ihren eigenen Gemache zu leiden haben. Von wegen Wasser predigen aber selber Wein saufen….
for all defrauders or deledefs, the safety chute for the european countries should be made permanent. Yes you know it does not cost a thing. Just any welfare accumulated over time and new playgrounds for laws keeping the bandits safe. Yes it is practical to not have any democratic control, and it’s very convenient that European citizens can not sue governments easily. Especially if it comes to such simple things like expecting that laws are for everyone. Well they are just a little bit special for all politicians. I’m really fed up with this rat-pack.

Jeder weitere Kommentar erübrigt sich da. Die Schuldigen stehen fest und es sind die, die „Journalisten“ und Politiker dazu „auserkoren“ haben.
Somit ist klar hier Lebende, dürfen sich „bereit“ machen. Ich empfehle dazu folgende Literatur: „Der Weg zur Knechtschaft“, von Friedrich A. Hayek. Sie erwarten, daß Ihr Eigentum Ihnen gehört, vergessen Sie es. Es gehört den Verteilern, Bürokraten und Schleimern. Wenn Sie mit dem obigen Buch durch sind, empfiehlt sich ein Blick on Atlas Shrugged über das was einen dann erwartet. Aber seien Sie froh, „In the long run we’re all dead“.
It’s always interesting to see how Deledefs make their „own“ kind of reality. Let’s take using stolen things for something. We can assume it was illegal to send the docs from the diverse places to wikileak. Now we can see interesting reaction: Those publishing that stuff should be jailed or even better killed. The always start babbling about security of whomever. Who has send the soldiers down to Iraque/Afghanistan. Yes indeed the same persons. It is acceptable to harm someone in the name of some artificial construct like a country, but if information is published about the same mission, than this is an unacceptable risk?
Then the very same deldefs accept happily a CD which people supposed not having to pay their (though of „just“ taxes). The even have paid for such a CD. The stuff is stolen, but hey it’s government. They can use whatever they get to put more pressure on their own citizens well this name is kindly phrased for subject.
It’s quite interesting, how you can get to such a brain split. Everything coming from government is good, everything else bad? Every one else knows it does not come anything good from government. You get in touch with them, you will have to pay dearly.
But hey the saying is. „It’s sweet to die for you country“. Why don’t the Deledefs do us a favor and take this sweeties?

2) Ihr verliert haufenweise Leute weil Ihr diesen Leuten zugemutet habt noch mehr zu haften.
Zwei einfache Sätze dürften auch Ihre Parteispitze verstehen.
Eure Verrätereien umfassen unter anderem:
1) Rettungsschirm Banken
2) Rettungsschirm EU Länder
Die Alternativen waren klar und für jeden einigermassen liberalen zu verstehen
1) Banken Pleite gehen lassen
2) Den EUR sein zu lassen
Keinerlei Aktionen waren von Ihnen zu sehen, warum soll man dann nicht jedwege andere Farbe wählen?
well a bad day for nearly every one but bureaucrats and scientists working on the climate warming. For every other there’s bad news. Now the raise of the temperature should be limited to 2 -° C. That means despite scientific doubts, believing in what the majority thinks was choosen. It does not matter if it really get’s warmer, or if man really is the reason. The message is: „Men is guilty of the warming and warming is good“.
I should want to mention that in Germany there was a big discussion about dieing forests. Well Germany still has it’s forests and despite anything else they are growing, and the surely will grow more if there will be less Germans (or people living here). Another thing quite recently. the ADAC (germans largest automobile club) has found out that the so called „Feinstaubplakette“ ( respirable dust) has not made a difference. In cities with zones the air, where just certain cars are allowed to enter, were not better than in other cities. But it has cost every car owner between 5-10 EUR.
It seems we have not sunk enough money into your banks now a few trillion, whatever funny currency name you can think of, play field. What will happen if the temperature will still rais above the 2 -° C. Will they send out the army to kill a few CO2 emittenters? Maybe starting with animals but happily accepting a few dead men as collateral damage? So in the sense of „We have no choice?“
Now something completely unrelated to politics. As I wrote in my BIO I’m still a programmer (and I’ve to admit it’s programmer by heart). I have chosen this profession, probably it’s fits my taste. I like trying out things and I really like to „build“ things. I’ve now spend over 20 years with programming and still like it. Anyway I’ve learned quite a few lessons, and I come to appreciate a few authors, and approaches. There’s one principle in Ruby which I value very high. It’s named DRY (Don’t Repeat Yourself). I’m also a big fan of continuous shaping and improving one’s code (the technical term for it is „refactoring“) Anyway some of the software I ship does not hold this principle high. You can tell: „well go change it“. And I’ve to admit yes, I should. And well I do. But I found another acronym for that code. And I can not resist offering it here: RYWYC (Repeat
Yourself Wherever You Can ;-). The code is a sorry mess in that regard. There is code duplication beyond any means. But there is also one quality in it: „It mostly works“. Agreed there are still trouble spots, but there are astonishingly few. And I’m still able to fix them. But it’s not something one should be especially proud of. One could be proud if one cleans up this mess. However this software lacks other essential things also: Tests. and refactoring without tests is like brain surgery with a chain saw…
